We're excited to launch the Gold Coast College of Sport and Business Online Professional Development Program — a unique opportunity to elevate your professional and personal growth.

In partnership with the Gold Coast SUNS and TAFE Queensland (RTO 0275), this accelerated program leads to a Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) — combining academic rigour with real-world insights from elite sport.

What Makes This Program Unique

This is more than just a qualification — it's a leadership experience. You'll:​

1. Learn from real-world scenarios inspired by the Gold Coast SUNS’ high-performance environment — and apply practical lessons in your own workplace or community.

2. ​Study flexibly with live online evening classes (6–9 pm 2 nights a week) over 22 weeks, plus three immersive Saturday sessions at the Gold Coast SUNS Headquarters in Carrara.

3. ​Develop critical leadership capabilities like emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and people management.

4. ​Earn a nationally recognised qualification that enhances your career prospects across a wide range of industries.

Fully Subsidised for Eligible Participants

We are pleased to announce that places in this 6-month course can be fully subsidised, meaning that eligible participants can complete this program at no cost.

To qualify, you must:

• Be a permanent Queensland resident

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary visa holder on a pathway to permanent residency

• Be aged 15 or older and no longer enrolled at school

• Not be currently enrolled in another qualification

• Not have previously completed a Fee-Free TAFE funded qualification

 

To fully benefit from this program, we also recommend participants have at least three years of professional or life experience.
